Thank you to Read/Write Library for the nice writeup about my zine!

It's been a while; honestly I've been a bit too busy to work on many personal projects -- nor have I been able to scan some of the more recent things I've worked on. I did take a photo of a sketch I did way back in November:


It's probably the only thing I've actually finished. I've started so many things and forgotten about them or just tossed it aside -- one of my (many) resolutions this year might have to be to actually finish everything I start!

I am starting volume II of the Fur, Hide, and Bone zine, and so am working on the cover for it...


Hopefully it'll be done by early April.

I have been rounding out my personal collection of Dead Things, however; here's an updated look at it if you're curious.

Oh yeah, I got a tattoo fairly recently -- I drew the design myself. It's of a hyena skull, and it made it into the tumblr Fuck Yeah Tattoos! :) That was kinda cool.

There's still another roll I need to finish shooting out. I will also be scanning bits and pieces from my sketchbook as well, soon!

Susie and I are at MoCCA Festival; we finished up Day 1 (okay sales) and are gearing up for Day 2! We are at table J20 so feel free to stop by if you are in the area.

Was there for a dinosaur drawing class -- the museum was full of beautiful old dioramas.
Also, some incredible photography by Rosamond Purcell was being exhibited there. If in the area, do check it out!

Sadly, the roll was somewhat underwhelming. Here are some shots from the Hudson Valley when we went with the NY Audubon society on a trip to see Bald Eagles. They were too far away to shoot, but we still saw quite a few other interesting birds...the second roll from that trip has not been processed yet, so there's more to come.
